Licensed Medical Transport Service

Welcome to MediRide. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MediRide's ambulance and medical transportation services, website, and mobile application (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important Notice

In life-threatening emergencies, always call 999 immediately. MediRide services are designed to complement, not replace, emergency medical services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MediRide services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

Legal Agreement: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MediRide. Your use of our Services signifies your acceptance of these Terms.

2. Services Description

Emergency Services

  • 24/7 emergency medical transport
  • Advanced life support ambulances
  • Qualified medical personnel
  • Emergency response coordination

Non-Emergency Services

  • Scheduled medical appointments
  • Hospital transfers
  • Discharge transportation
  • Medical equipment transport

MediRide provides professional ambulance and medical transportation services through a network of licensed providers. Our services include emergency response, non-emergency medical transport, and specialized care transport with qualified medical personnel and appropriate equipment.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

18+

Age Requirement

Must be 18 years or older to create an account

Valid Information

Provide accurate and current personal information

Account Security

Maintain confidentiality of account credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. User Responsibilities

Accurate Information

You must provide accurate medical information, location details, and emergency contacts. Inaccurate information may delay or compromise medical care.

Cooperation with Medical Personnel

You agree to cooperate with medical personnel and follow their instructions during transport. This includes providing necessary medical history and current medications.

Prohibited Uses

  • Using services for non-medical transportation
  • Providing false emergency information
  • Interfering with medical equipment or personnel
  • Abusive or threatening behavior toward staff
  • Using services under the influence of illegal substances

5. Booking and Payment Terms

Booking Policies

  • Emergency services available 24/7
  • Non-emergency services require advance scheduling
  • Cancellations must be made 30 minutes prior
  • No-show fees may apply

Payment Terms

  • Payment required at time of service
  • Insurance coverage subject to verification
  • Additional charges for specialized equipment
  • Dispute resolution within 30 days

Pricing and Fees

Service fees are based on distance, type of care required, and time of service. Emergency services may incur additional charges for specialized medical interventions.

6. Medical Disclaimer and Limitations

Important Medical Disclaimer

No Medical Advice: MediRide provides transportation services only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Emergency Situations: For life-threatening emergencies, always call 999 first. MediRide should not be your first response for critical medical emergencies.

Medical Decisions: All medical care decisions remain between you and your healthcare providers. Our personnel provide care within their scope of practice.

Service Limitations

  • Services subject to vehicle and personnel availability
  • Response times may vary based on location and traffic conditions
  • Some medical conditions may require specialized transport not available through our service
  • Weather conditions and other factors may affect service delivery

7. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for medical outcomes, delays due to circumstances beyond our control, or indirect damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold MediRide harmless from any claims arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

8. Termination

Grounds for Termination

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abusive behavior toward staff or other users
  • Non-payment of services
  • Providing false or misleading information

Termination Process

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately, but obligations related to payment and confidentiality will survive.

9. Additional Terms

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
